Hello all! I think that a big thing at the moment (that we need) is more talents. As the game gets bigger, we want people to have heaps of different talents. So here are a few ideas. Not many, make changes if you want.
Dreamwalking - Channeler only. Enter TAR and travel long distances. Also be able to enter the minds of people who are sleeping.
Healing - Channeler only. Great ability to heal.
Ter'angreal - Channeler only. Be able to make ter'angreal's.
Angreal and Sa'angreal - Channeler only. Be able to make angreal's and sa'angreal's.
Dodging - Chan. + nonchan. Greater ability to dodge attacks.
Talent Sight - Chan. + nonchan. Be able to see other peoples talents.
Sense Darkness - Chan. + nonchan. Be able to sense trollocs and fades within a certain radius.
Concentrating - Chan. + nonchan. Greater ability in accuracy of your attacks.

I agree with some of the talents you suggested. But the ability to sense darkness is a thing of the power, warders only get it because of the bond. Dodging and concentrating would be totally useless because the point of talents is that they have something to do with the rp of the books, and we never see them in the books. But the imms could upgrade meditation, normally meditating should make you hit with more accuracy. I also don't think that channies/non channies should get to see other people, in the books the only talents detectable are wolfbros(the eyes) and tav'eren(and that was only accomplished by the power). I would suggest that before putting in new talents, the imms finish up working on the ones we already have.

Dont let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

I think I agree with Darth on this one. Talents are great, but lets try and keep it as "book-like" as possible. Talents can be added in later. Let the imms focus on the things they already have in the works.

Healing, though I'm not sure if there was actually a talen in the books. We already have a potential 'talent' for healing, its when your strongest elements are spirit and water. As, I believe those are the most common elements used in healing weaves.
Also, Dodging and Accuracy I don't feel should be talents so much as a skill, or something that you learn over time and experiance. Much of what Darth has already stated.
I do however, agree with the Ter'angreal one and Dream walking. Both of those did exist in the books (Egwene and Elayne.)
1 Talent that would be interesting would be the Fortelling, as that was most definatley in the books. However I'm not quite certain how that could be portrayed on the MUD.

Healing was a talent in the books. Dreaming is something that is being considered. It's too early to put in the ability to craft ter'angreal or angreal

The oldest form of "dreamwalking" was only available to wolfkin.

Why not making all the good talents an award instead of a random effect. By reward I mean, a reward for having excellent continuous rp(includes but SHOULD NOT be limited to 1-1 rp). I know that this pushes us a bit away from the books, but this also encourages good rp.
And I'm saying this because I know, that not that many people are that rp-oriented, especially in a clan like the WS, which is overpowered thus should have members who have EXCELLENT rp, instead what im seeing is ppl who arent even lvl 10 and who are at rank 1 or 2 of that. I mean if you're gonna give them forms at rank lower rank than military clans, at least make them earn it rply.
Plus giving a male newbie( no off to newbs, i have mad love fo y'all) the ability to channel, at least make sure that he has a pretty good idea of the rp he's gonna have. Same goes with the other uber talents, including fem channeling.
Sorry if this is too whiny for you.

Btw I'm pretty sure that dreamwalking wasn't only limited to channelers, at least i think.

Id say you need a bigger player base before start imping new talents. A hell of a lot of people will just restart and restart til they get a talent or the talent they want. Or else your going to have a place where 95% of the population has talents as opposed to being a rarity like in the books.
Also with there being only 2 chars per account on each side, people won't be developing a character, because if the timer runs out they just recreate.
