Well, basic idea Syl is to RP what you view your clan is about.
I view a guard clan like the Queen's guard this way.
1. Your the queen's arm. You do what she says.
2. Your the police of the realm.
3. Your the borderguards for that realm.
This means
1. You protect your queen.
2. you protect your people. and
3. you protect your nations boundaries from intruders.
I don't see how Noral asking you to fetch him a fish fits into either one of those categories. Now, I can see Noral asking you to find/rescue the kidnapped daughter of a local lord. Or to figure out who burnt a house down in carysford.
BUT. and let me repeat BUT. Imms are more than happy to see people RPing their clan w/o the intervention of an Imm. And I for one, reward on a higher scale for RP I see people start themselves than for RP I instigate. This means... You log on, and you take a 1-2 around caemlyn, asking the guards if they'd seen anything unusual.
Now, the clans are still in ground zero stage so.. that leaves alot of things that the players can build the foundation of.
for instance:
1. You join the military in RL. you sign your life away(pledge/oath/swear)...
Now, as most people more than 200 years ago couldn't read. They spoke oaths. How many clans atm have swearing-in oaths? I know one does
Cairhienin Elite.
Why not sit down and think up an RP oriented oath for new recruits Syl?
OR.... atm, ranks are just plain names. No benefits nor responsibilities.
why not sit down and think what each of those ranks would do?
Might also think up some quest ideas for your clan imm(in your case its paw)
And lastly-------------
Your clan board is empty. This tells me nothing ever happens. 1. Make something happen and 2. Write about it. Your imms WILL reward you for RPing your character. if you need to mail him every now and again detailing your actions.
We don't just want ppl who log on, do their PT and log off. that skips the part of being /active/ inorder to get promotions.
