Question, is there a forrester clan/guild clan in the books. If not why put so much effort into something that in the books wouldn't be rp logical?
5th, I'm beating records ain't I?

1. The very concept of a Forest Warden clan bothers me to the very core of my being for 2 reasons. 2. If your a forest warden, where do you hold any authority as the term 'warden' suggests. If your in Andor, Bream Woods, and I'm a lord who holds that title, I'll have men /I HAVE PAID/ policing my lands. Not some leather clad peasant with trumped up tracking skills and some love for the forest. Leave the Green Peace stuff to the academics. 2. If your in a land without any sort of rulers, like the Caralian Grass or most of the lands just south of the Borderlands(South Saldaea, North Cairhien, etc)... Your proper rank would be 'Robber Baron' or 'Bandit' And you have zero authority beyond that of your sword of peoples voluntary acceptance.... But on the other hand, just because something isn't mentioned in the books or IS mentioned, doesn't mean we as a MIRROR of the wheel can't incorporate it as long as it fits the GENERAL Environment of the Books. But a 'clan' of men I'd consider to be SOLITARY is sort of ... undesireable. Much like the Gleeman... they were a Solitary group, learned pretty much alone or from a single teacher not a classroom setting or a guild of any sorts. Now, if you wanted to make it a WARRIOR/SCOUT base of a military/spy organization that had a vested interest in a quiet surveillance of the world and actually had a reporting system, rank, and a declared enemy(like um... the dark? or everything for that matter) Bear in mind that such a group WOULD be considered CRIMINAL if they were on occupied lands(andor, saldaea etc) or MURDERERS if they were on unoccupied lands and sought to promote their 'allegience' by force. then Great, but with everything I've heard, the proposed foresters would be almost the antonym of that. Passive Treehuggers with no enemies and no goals other than 'helping travellers'? too vague and no offense, but seems a bit empty headed..... - Just the ramblings of a Wanderer
