Ok, a lot of people have noticed that some eq is impossible to see because it is BLACK in color. This is actually due to improper color settings in zMUD so I thought I'd put up instructions on how to set the colors on zMUD to work properly with our coloring scheme. I'm using zMUD 6.22 so if you have an older version it may work just slightly differently to get to the color settings. - On the task bar click on "View" then "Preferences" and then "colors"
- click on the + beside colors to expand the list of options
- click "color schemes"
- and in the scheme list box select "ANSI"
- now click on "foreground mapping" and click the "set colors to default" button
- finally click on the "apply" button and your colors will be set up correctly
a good way to know if your colors are set wrong is that if they are, most likely when an immortal "booms" you will see that text in a light purple, rather than the bright light blue, or if you see things like "Loril wears a pair of boots" (most likely they are black boots)
